Authenticity Disclaimer

info@24kariv.comHow we screen sellers and ownership
We verify business dealers before approving their accounts, and they must guarantee the authenticity of the watches they list. Dealer approval and a seller's authenticity guarantee do not mean Kariv has physically authenticated every individual watch.
Private sellers must provide proof of ownership for Kariv to review before their watches are listed. All sellers must retain records supporting provenance and any inspection claims they make. Proof of ownership helps establish the right to sell a watch but does not, by itself, prove its authenticity; supporting records are not automatically included with a purchase.

1. Authentic watches and accurate listings
24kariv.com is operated by Kariv Glamour s.r.o., an independent watch marketplace. We sell watches from our own inventory and facilitate listings from private owners and independent businesses. Every seller must offer authentic watches, describe them accurately and be able to support their claims. Counterfeit watches and components bearing counterfeit trademarks are not permitted. Kariv Glamour has no affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship or authorised-dealer relationship with the watch manufacturers shown on this website.
2. What listing review means
Kariv reviews the information submitted for a listing. A listing marked Verified or Listing information reviewed means that its submitted information has been reviewed. It does not mean that Kariv has physically inspected the watch, examined its movement or certified its authenticity. Approval of a seller account is also separate from authentication of a particular watch.
Physical authentication is not automatically included with a listing or purchase. If an individual watch is described as inspected, authenticated or certified, the claim must be supported by documentation identifying the watch, the person or organisation that performed the work, its date and its scope. Ask the seller for that documentation before purchase. An independent assessment is not manufacturer approval, and Kariv does not issue certificates on a manufacturer's behalf.
Sellers must own the watches they list and retain records supporting ownership, provenance and any authenticity or inspection claims they make. A business may carry out its own checks or use an independent specialist; this must not be presented as an inspection by Kariv. Supporting records retained by a seller are not automatically included in the sale. The listing must identify which original papers, certificates or other documents will accompany the watch. Relevant evidence can be requested before purchase, with personal information appropriately protected.
3. Originality, service parts and modifications
An authentic watch is not necessarily unchanged since manufacture. Vintage and pre-owned watches may contain service replacements, aftermarket parts or later customisation. Sellers must clearly disclose known replacement parts, refinishing, diamond setting and other modifications, and must not describe aftermarket work as factory-original or manufacturer-approved. Disclosure of a modification does not make a counterfeit watch or counterfeit component acceptable.
Box, papers, warranty cards, receipts and service records can support provenance but do not establish authenticity or the originality of every component on their own. Their issuer and the items actually included must be clear. Manufacturer warranty and service eligibility depend on the manufacturer's own terms; see the Warranty Policy.
4. Before you buy
Read the description, photographs, condition, reference, dimensions, service history, disclosed modifications and scope of delivery together. Ask the identified seller about gaps or inconsistencies and request further photographs or documents where needed. Listing review does not replace examination of the physical watch. See our review process for the distinction between listing review and documented inspection.
5. If you have a concern
If you reasonably believe a delivered watch is inauthentic or materially different from the listing, do not wear, open, resize, repair or alter it. Keep all packaging and contact info@24kariv.com promptly with the order number, photographs and the basis for your concern. We may request independent inspection and will apply the relevant buyer-protection, return and legal-conformity rights.
Keep supporting documents and communications. The Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to raise an issue. An order's buyer-protection period does not shorten mandatory rights against the seller. This disclaimer does not exclude liability for fraud or misrepresentation and does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
