This policy applies to orders placed through 24kariv.com. The seller identified for each order may be Kariv Glamour, an independent business dealer or a private owner. The applicable withdrawal and refund rights depend on who sold the watch and on the reason for return.
1. Statutory right of withdrawal
If you are an EU/EEA consumer buying online from a professional seller, you generally have 14 days after you, or a person designated by you, receives the watch to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. Mandatory rights in your country may provide additional protection.
To exercise this right, send a clear statement before the deadline to info@24kariv.com. Include your name, order number, the watch and a reliable contact method; a reason is not required. We will acknowledge your notice, check the seller and coordinate return instructions. You do not need the dealer's prior approval to exercise a statutory withdrawal right.
2. Returning the watch
After notifying us, send the watch back within 14 days. Kariv will confirm the return address supplied for the order. Dealer-sold watches are returned directly to the dealer who sold them; Kariv-owned watches go to the return address we provide. Do not send a watch to Kariv's registered office or to an unverified address. This also applies to cross-border returns: wait for the correct seller address and shipping instructions before dispatch.
Use a trackable, appropriately insured service, package the watch securely and retain proof of shipment. Return the box, papers, certificates, warranty card, spare links and other items supplied with the watch where available. Missing outer packaging alone does not cancel a statutory withdrawal right, although missing items or avoidable damage may affect the amount refundable where the law permits.
You may inspect a watch as you would reasonably be permitted to do in a shop. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. This does not remove statutory rights relating to defects or a product that is not as described.
For a change-of-mind withdrawal, the consumer may bear the direct return-shipping cost only if this was disclosed before purchase and the seller has not agreed to cover it. For an accepted defect, misdescription or seller error, the responsible professional seller bears reasonable return costs. Ask Kariv for the correct dealer address and suitable insurance instructions before sending a high-value watch across a border.
Escrow-protected orders
If your order used Kariv escrow, the 14-day post-delivery inspection period starts when courier delivery is confirmed. If you want to return the watch, request a refund or report a problem during that period, open an order case from your account and select the return/refund reason or another applicable reason. This places the protected dealer payout on hold while the case is reviewed. You may also notify Kariv by email; an email notice is sufficient to exercise a statutory withdrawal right, but please open the account case too so the protected payout is paused. If you cannot access your account, tell Kariv immediately so support can help you report the issue before payout. If no case is open within the inspection period, Kariv may pay the dealer after that period and the required payout checks. No affirmative buyer confirmation is required. This does not end any statutory withdrawal, defect or misdescription right.
3. Refund timing and method
For a valid withdrawal, the amount legally due—including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered for the original order—must be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice. The seller may withhold reimbursement until the watch is received or you provide evidence of return, whichever occurs first. A full refund is due where no lawful deduction applies; handling beyond what is needed to inspect the watch may result in a lawful deduction for diminished value.
For a Kariv-owned watch, Kariv arranges the refund. For a dealer sale paid directly to the dealer, that dealer is responsible for the refund and Kariv coordinates and follows up on the case. For an escrow-protected order, Kariv coordinates any eligible refund from protected funds before dealer payout. Refunds use the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed, without additional refund fees. Extra costs for an upgraded delivery method are not refundable unless required by law. A bank or payment provider may take additional time to show an issued refund in your account.
4. Defective, damaged or misdescribed watches
If a watch arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, inauthentic or materially different from the listing, contact us promptly with your order number, photographs and a clear description. For an escrow-protected order, also open an order dispute during its inspection period to keep protected funds on hold. That period does not shorten mandatory rights against the seller. Avoid further use or alteration while the issue is assessed. Kariv will coordinate the dealer's return address and, where appropriate, inspection, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund with the responsible seller. Reasonable return costs for a valid defect or seller error will not be charged to the consumer.
5. Exceptions
The right of withdrawal may be excluded only where the law permits—for example, for a genuinely personalised item made to your specification. A listing marked “final sale” does not override mandatory consumer rights. The EU consumer right to a 14-day change-of-mind withdrawal generally does not apply to a purchase from a genuine private seller. Any voluntarily offered return terms and applicable rights for misdescription still apply. Check the seller's status and return terms before purchase; contact Kariv if either is unclear.
6. Questions
Contact info@24kariv.com before returning any high-value item. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
